Whale sharks are fascinating creatures and here are some fun facts that you may not have known about them.
1. Though it's pretty rare, there is about a10% chance that a whale shark survives to adult hood
but if they do the chances are that they will live up to 150 years old!
2. Did you know that a fully grown whale shark can grow to about 25 meters!
3. Whale sharks are endangered animals which means that there aren't very many left on this earth.
4. Did you know that whale sharks aren't whales or sharks they are fish! And despite all that they are the largest fish in the ocean.
The reason I am writing this is because if we deserve to live than why don't every other living creature in the world!? I'm only 9 years old but that doesn't stop me from caring about every living creature on earth from algae to giraffes.
